Rates apply progressively, like income-tax brackets: each rate is charged only on the revenue inside its band, never on your whole total. Brackets are lifetime, so once you cross one you never move back up.

It works like income tax brackets. Each rate applies only to the revenue earned within that band, not your total revenue. So if you make $6,000, the first $1,000 is charged at 1%, the next $4,000 at 0.85%, and the last $1,000 at 0.70%. Never a single flat rate on the whole amount.
No. Selnotes does not charge subscription fees, listing fees, monthly minimums, or hidden charges. You only pay the commission when a sale completes. Standard payment-processor fees from Stripe still apply (around 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), since those are charged directly by the card networks.
It's lifetime. Once you cross a bracket you stay in the lower rate forever and the platform never bumps you back up. Tiers are applied progressively, so each bracket's rate only ever charges against the revenue inside that bracket.
You can withdraw your earnings to a connected Stripe account or directly to your bank via IBAN. Withdrawals start from $10 with no upper limit, and most payouts arrive within 1–3 business days.

No. Individual creators can sell on Selnotes without any company registration. We handle the platform-side compliance, and you are responsible for declaring your earnings according to your local tax laws.
